COOZIE CAPER 2008

So here it is, my first attempt at this. We'll have to see how it goes...

Basically all I have done this summer is be in weddings or participate in bridal showers, teas, and helping out with the weddings that I will be in. I love my friends and would do anything for them and am honored to be a party of their weddings, but LOTS goes into being in a wedding, as my friend Ann Marie and I have discussed on many occasions. As a result, we have created a game to help us get something in return!!!

The Great Coozie Caper: A return on your investment

A game to be played by anyone who has taken an active role in a wedding. If you lived with a bride/groom, are in the wedding, or dating someone who is in the wedding and therefore have attended every wedding function and should get a special prize but don't because you are just the "boyfriend/girlfriend", this game is for you. The object of the game is to steal as many coozies at the reception that you can based on the following guidelines. Coozies will be tallied at the end of the night. Prizes awarded based on how cheap your friends are.

STEAL:

• 1 for each wedding party you have attended (engagement party, tea, or shower)
• 2 for attending the rehearsal dinner
• 1 for every $100 you have spent on the wedding (includes gifts and attire)
• 1 for each time you heard the bride/groom argue over the location, time, guest list, flowers, invitations, etc...
• 1 if you traveled over 30 miles to get there
• 1 for participating in pictures
• 2 if you are dateless
• 1 if you stay until the end of the reception (BONUS: add 1 more if you stay and DON'T have a date)
• 1 if you played an active role in planning the wedding or helped get things ready.
• 2 if you were a bridesmaid and wore the shoes through the reception

PUT BACK:

• 1 if you wore solid white or black to the wedding
• 1 if there were coozies but no alcohol at the reception
• 1 for each tatoo or body piercing visible (aside from 1 hole in each ear)
• 1 if you were in the wedding and chewing gum during the ceremony
• 1 if you were elbowed during the ceremony for doing/saying something stupid
• 3 if you catch the bouquet/garter
• 1 if you only came to the reception
  
• 1 for every time you are caught with a tobacco product

*Immediate disqualification and return of all acquired coozies if you hit on the bride/groom or both
